These collars are made for e-collars that have 3/4” webbing (educators/dogtras/etc). These collars make fitting and putting on the e-collars much easier. This collar safely applies pressure to the receiver (keeping in contact with the dog) while keeping the dog comfortable and free to move.

**Sizing for this product is based on the size of the collar itself WITHOUT the e-collar attached. I suggest potentially sizing up for e-collar straps as the part that wraps around the device takes up approximately 3-4 inches of the biothane collar. Please take into account your dog’s neck size and the sizing of our buckle collars.

IMPORTANT:

These bungee e-collar straps are not meant to attach your leash to. Boris Bandanas is not responsible for the misuse of this collar, such as breakage if you attach your leash and the bungee snaps.

Due to the thickness of the biothane, sometimes it can be tricky to get the strap onto the receiver. To make it easier, you can use pliers to push/pull the biothane through the receiver slots. Don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions.

Our biothane collars and leashes are made of pvc coated webbing giving it the look and feel of leather. Finished with top of the line nickel and brass hardware, it's sure to last forever. Holes will be spaced 1/2” from each other, if you would rather them with a 1” spacing please write that in the notes section at checkout.

How to clean

Bandanas:

Machine Wash Gentle Cold, Tumble Dry Low, Warm Iron or lay flat to dry.

Biothane:

If it gets dirty, simply rinse it with water and some soap to make it brand new.

Nylon Backed Gear:

Handwash with water and soap, hang to dry.

Bandana Sizing

Sizing is based on your dog's neck size. We recommend measuring your dog's neck before selection a size. When in doubt - size up.  If you’re still unsure about your dog’s size, contact us and we’ll be happy to help. Custom sizing available upon request.

SMALL: ~ 21” from tip to tip

MEDIUM: ~ 25” from tip to tip

LARGE: ~ 29” from tip to tip

instructions: 1. lay the bandana flat so it looks like a triangle 2. roll the top of the triangle down before tying it onto your dog's neck to create the bandana shape - if its too long keep rolling the bandana

To size the length of a collar properly, allow two fingers to snugly fit between the collar and the dog's neck. 

XS - Measurement in inches 9- 12" Neck

S - Measurement in inches: 11-14" Neck

M - Measurement in inches: 14-17" Neck

L - Measurement in inches: 17-20" Neck

XL - Measurement in inches: 20-23" Neck

XXL - Measurement in inches: 23-26"

Full Slip

To size the length of a collar properly, please ensure you measure around your dog’s neck AND widest part of their head to ensure the collar will be able to slip on.with a soft measuring tape:

1. measure the largest part of your dogs head-around from the top of the head to under the chin

2. measure wherever the collar is traditionally worn

3. As these do not adjust, please choose the LARGER of the two measurements to guarantee the collar slips over your pups head. 

 

Example for slip collar: if you order a collar for 17”, it will be exactly 17” internal circumference. Please take in account ears and fur into account when measuring. If you have a really fluffy dog, add a few more inches if you’d like to see the collar through it’s fur.
